Mr. Robson is an Accredited Real Estate Appraiser and Professional Land Economist with over 40 years of experience. Mr. Robson has consulted on and prepared appraisals on a wide variety of property types. He has extensive experience in the valuation of development land throughout most southern Ontario markets. Appraisals have been prepared for market value disputes (including expropriation and partnership matters), purchase and sale purposes, as well as lease rental renewals.
In addition to valuation assignments, Mr. Robson has qualified to and has given expert witness evidence before Judges and Masters of the Superior Court of Ontario, the Ontario Municipal Board, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, the Ontario Land Tribunal, the Ontario Board of Negotiation, the Federal Tax Review Board and various arbitration tribunals. Mr. Robson has
also served as an Arbitrator / Mediator on various land valuation-related disputes.
Ward Lansink is an accredited real estate appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and has worked in
the appraisal field for over 20 years. He has assisted or completed hundreds of appraisal and consulting services for a multitude of assignments in both the private and public sectors, including a diversity of property types, such as residential, rural residential, multi-residential, commercial retail, commercial office, industrial, institutional, land (100+ agricultural,
ecologically sensitive, parks and conservation,
commercial/industrial/residential awaiting development, building lots, school sites), and others. Specialization in expropriation (including analysis of diminution in value / injurious affection) and litigation-related assignments.
Ward also appears regularly before the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, formerly the Ontario Municipal Board, formerly the Board of Negotiation) and represents numerous expropriated owners and Authorities throughout Ontario in projects such as: Metrolinx GTA Transit Developments (including Ontario Line, Eglinton Crosstown, Finch West Light Rail Transit, Hurontario Light Rail
Transit, Hamilton Light Rail Transit, Yonge Street North Extension), Waterloo Rapid Transit, Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, Scarborough Subway Extension, York Rapid Transit, and other major infrastructure projects (including Highway 400, Highway 401, Highway 407 East, Highway 11, Morriston By-pass, Highway 7, Bradford By-pass, Highway 413, and Highway 11/17 in Thunder Bay).
Ward graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Architectural Science. He obtained his Diploma in Urban Land Economics (DULE) from the University of British Columba and his P.App, AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Ward is also a Director for the Ontario Expropriation Association, and a proud past member of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE).
Jerald is an Accredited Real Estate Appraiser and member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He earned an undergraduate degree in Real Estate and Housing from the University of Guelph in 2014. In 2015 he received his post-graduate
certificate program in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia.
Jerald joined Robson Associates Inc. in 2015 and received his AACI, P.App designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2019. He is a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association (OEA).
Jennifer is an Accredited Real Estate Appraiser and member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada with over 30 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Urban and Regional Studies. Jennifer joined Robson Associates Inc. in 1988 and received her AACI, P.App designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1996.
Ms. Chan is an accredited real estate appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. She earned an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto in 2011 and
received her AACI, P.App designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2019.
She has assisted and completed appraisal and consulting services on a variety of assignments including right-of-way valuation, portfolio valuation, expropriation valuation, ground
lease arbitrations and various legal disputes. Her assignments largely focus on valuation issues for litigation purposes.
Winnie joined Robson Associates Inc. in January 2023 after working previously with Altus Group and Integris Real Estate Counsellors. She is a member of the Ontario Expropriation
Association (OEA).
Jeff is an Accredited Real Estate Appraiser and member
of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He earned an undergraduate degree in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph in 2006 and his Post Graduate
Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia in 2013.
In 2015, Jeff received his AACI, P.App designation from
the Appraisal Institute of Canada and in 2020, he earned his Senior Right of Way Professional (SR/WA) designation from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). Jeff is also a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association (OEA) and volunteered for six years with the Appraisal Institute of
Canada as a member of the Investigating Sub Committee.
Jeff began his career with Robson Associates Inc.,
first joining in 2011. During this time, Jeff was involved in expropriation and litigation-based appraisal, review and consulting assignments, including several private ground lease arbitrations. Other areas of focus included developing
proforma and sensitivity analysis models, financial modelling, cash flow proformas, feasibility studies, sensitivity analyses and development residual modeling.
In 2015, Jeff joined the Regional Municipality of Peel, first
in the role of Capital Acquisition Agent, then moved to the Senior Capital Acquisition Agent role where he completed large volume transactions to successfully deliver land requirements for multiple complex capital infrastructure projects. Jeff directed expropriation proceedings from appraisal
procurement, offers, attending board of negotiations, through to final settlements. He completed complex, high profile and politically sensitive valuation assignments including internal appraisals, appraisal reviews and feasibility and sensitivity analyses to support property acquisition and decisions for the Region’s strategic initiatives related to affordable housing,
waste, police and paramedic sites. Jeff also mentored junior staff members on appraisal and capital acquisitions.
Jeff rejoined Robson Associates Inc. in October 2023.
Scott is an Accredited Real Estate Appraiser and member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and has worked in the appraisal field for more than 10 years. He earned his degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in 2007 and has been a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association (OEA) since 2014. He has completed appraisal and consulting services for a multitude of assignments in both the private and public sectors, including a diversity of property types, such as residential, rural residential, multi-residential, commercial retail, commercial office, industrial, institutional, development land, agricultural land, railway corridor, and others. His expertise has been used for a variety of real estate purposes, including mediation, litigation, expropriation, negotiation and acquisition.
Scott joined Robson Associates Inc. in October 2022 after working previously for Altus Group Limited from October 2020-October 2022 and gsi Real Estate and Planning Advisors Inc. from January 2014-October 2020.
